Lorraine’s Visit
By Charlie
On the 6th of February a person named Lorraine O'Sullivan came to saint brigid N.S. She came
inside the school and she showed us a few fun facts about animals. Like an otter, a fox a duck
and a hedgehog and a few insects.
Facts
The students learned how she got and had the animals.
We learned that some animals she was given and some she found.
We have learned a lot of facts about animals. One for a duck for example we learned that a
duck can't feel the wet and sometimes cant feel the cold.
Lorraine let the students inspect all the animals. And we saw some fish like a water bear, a
caddisfly and a flatworm and plenty more insects. And we saw other animals like ducks, otters ,
foxes and hedgehogs. And we also saw a wasps nest.
At the end of the day we were inspecting insects.
We would put a tray and we would put them under a microscope and view them closer up.
At the very end of the day we were creating our own animal with clay and sadly we had to go
home. but we got to paint them the day after.
