Pancake Tuesday

Yesterday at St. Brigid's NS Kells students Méabh (5th Class), Charlotte (4th Class) and Isabelle (6th Class) prepped and cooked pancakes for all 28 pupils of the school. Isabelle and Méabh made the batter and then students Jamie (3rd Class) and Kayden (5th Class) made a second bowl. Charlotte and Patrick (4th Class) chopped up bananas and strawberries and put them along with some blueberries into separate bowls to use as pancake toppings. For toppings there was also maple syrup, lemon and sugar. Charlotte, Méabh and Isabelle took turns cooking the pancakes on a crepe maker for everyone and then also took turns topping them for everyone. It took about 2 hours to make and top all the pancakes but it was definitely worth it because all of the students enjoyed them and it was a fun experience for the day.
